Church Life: Care Team

Caring for those in Need:
Life isn’t always straightforward and care free. At times we need to press into God and stand in prayer with our church family members who are struggling. The Care Team are dedicated to doing just that. They also rally round and help out families who need practical care or individuals needing support; and so much more.

The Care Team: Sandra Jarkovic-Sanders heads up the Care Team.

Crisis Food Bank:
This is a provision for families primarily in Gateway who have a genuine need due to unexpected circumstances, finding that they are unable to cope in the short term.  We will supply non perishable foodstuffs donated by the Gateway congregation helping people through a difficult time.

Food Patrol:
The Care Team have a dedicated team of friendly ‘cooks’ who prepare and deliver a hot meal for those temporarily struggling in our Gateway family, perhaps due to ill health or arrival of a new baby. If you are part of Gateway and need practical help or prayer support, have a chat with Sandra.

Prayer Ministry during the Service:
The Prayer Team & Care Team join to minister for those who would like prayer on a Sunday Morning following the service.
