| Call and Vision: At the age of just 6, Jon Colyer was supernaturally called into ministry at the Westminster Central Halls. The vision for revival he received made God's plan for his life clear, and he has passionately pursued that vision – revival in the western world – ever since. At 16, Jon moved to the Czech Republic just after the fall of Communism. For 9 months he held daily street crusades and had the privilege of seeing thousands of decisions for Christ as a result of the Gospel being preached and the miracles witnessed. Shortly after leaving Czech, Jon moved to America to attend Bible College. This is where he and Angela met, and they were married in 1997. |

Upon graduating in '96, Jon began to travel as a revival evangelist. One of the first churches at which Jon ministered experienced a powerful open heaven, and two days turned into two months as God moved in that place and the church exploded. Jon has continued to minister in that flow ever since, his anointed ministry of the Word through preaching and prophetic song producing a powerful atmosphere for the hand of God. The fire of God continues to burn mightily in Jon, he has been described as a "young man with a contagious message"; Jon won't be satisfied until he sees entire cities shaken with the power of God." Jon and Angela have been privileged to travel all over the world sharing the Gospel and the passion in their hearts for the kingdom of God. However, they have always known that Europe, and the United Kingdom in particular, was the place God had burned into their hearts. In November of 2005 at the Lord's leading; Jon, Angela and their son Levi, moved from their home just outside of Niagara Falls, Canada to the Birmingham area. God had placed a dream in their hearts to plant Gateway Christian Centre – and to play their part in seeing "His kingdom come" to this continent. |
